I’ve had the honor of photographing Joy Cho and her family for the past three years. It’s always such a treasure for me to witness and capture babies as they grow, and this family is close to my heart. Joy is perhaps the most aptly named woman I have ever met. Full of light and love, she is just as kind and humble as she is smart and beautiful.
As a mother running my own business, I’m always seeking guidance from other mothers in my community who are doing the same. Joy is a shining example of how we can have it all — deep family connection, as well as an incredible career. She is raising two amazing girls in this world, navigating it all with grace and love and wisdom.
I wanted to be sure to capture all of their family magic in our shots. Our amazing location was the Museum of Ice Cream in Downtown LA. It was so much fun to let the kiddos run around and just be themselves. Joy partnered with Artifact Uprising to share some really useful tips on how to get great family photos on her blog that are totally worth checking out!
